15 Jul 2006 - Another Sewage spill in Inver River

The Inver River was hit once again with raw sewage on Saturday 8th July. The sewage came from one of the CSO's which had been promised to be made redundant by the Water Service when the new Waste Water Treatment Works was installed in the town of Larne. The Chairman has now called on all Councillors on Larne Borough Council to help in the eratication of all pollution in the Inver River and its tributaries.
